Large Van Based Mobile Libraries & Bookmobiles
Van-based mobile libraries, sometimes called bookmobiles, offer a cost-effective and versatile way to deliver library services directly to the community. They are highly manoeuvrable, relatively fuel-efficient and well suited to both urban and regional routes. Depending on the selected vehicle and its GVM, many configurations can be operated with a standard car licence.
Mobile libraries can be created using platforms such as the Ford Transit, Volkswagen Crafter or Transporter, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, IVECO Daily and other comparable commercial vans.
Rigid Truck Based Mobile Libraries & Bookmobiles
Rigid truck-based mobile libraries provide greater capacity while remaining practical and easy to deploy across urban, regional and remote communities. Their larger internal footprint allows for expanded book collections, accessible browsing areas, technology stations, service desks and community-program spaces.

Semi-Trailer Based Mobile Libraries & Bookmobiles
Semi-trailer-based mobile libraries provide the greatest capacity for large book collections, technology, community programs and extended regional deployment.
